Carrefour is a five-monitor video installation that reconstructs, with moving text, a busy city intersection. Coloured letters, describing the passing vehicles, crawl and roll across the screens in real-time. Simple phrases like gray sedan turns, orange bicycle passes, white and blue police car stops, mark fleeting details of the ongoing urban traffic.
